There are 2 routes into Ramsgill the most common is via the small town of Pateley Bridge.

Travel down Pateley Bridge high street, over the bridge and take your next right (in front of the petrol station signposted Ramsgill, Lofthouse). Follow this winding road for 4 miles (after a couple of miles you will see Gouthwaite Reservoir on your right) just before the village of Ramsgill on the brow on a small hill you will see wrought Iron gates into a cobbled court yard to your left. Drive into the courtyard and follow the parking signs to the right.

The 2nd route Via Masham takes you over the moors and single track roads dropping down into Lofthouse, turn left towards Ramsgill and follow this road past Ramsgill village and when you reach the small brow of the first hill turn right into the into the cobbled courtyard through the wrought Iron gates

Absolutely, we get lots of families travelling from all ends of the country who come together and meet at Reservoir Holiday cottages. You will have the whole site to yourselves.

We love well behaved dogs and they love the Yorkshire Dales and all the many walks that are  right on the door step. 

Yes, we were positioned on the Tour de France and Tour de Yorkshire route, so since then we have attracted many keen cyclists and motor-bikers. We offer a secure garage for all bikes on a first come first served basis. 

Absolutely, the countryside is littered with spectacular walking trails in every direction. We are positioned on the path of the famous Nidderdale Way (featured on Claire Balding’s The Ramblings show). Gouthwaite and Scar Reservoirs can both be walked around and are on your doorstep. When you book with us you will receive a guidebook that gives you plenty of detail about the area including some great walking routes.

There are lovely country pubs in every direction.

You have The Crown in Lofthouse, The Crown in Middlesmoor, The Sportsmans arms in Wath, The Bridge Inn just outside Pateley Bridge and many more.

In Pateley Bridge itself along with restaurants, takeaways and lovely shops selling amazing local produce. 

All our properties are on the same site and enjoy plenty of outdoor space. Each property either has a garden or patio area. We have BBQ equipment available and small Fire pits. The whole site is surrounded by a private paddock.

We are so lucky to have the wonderful Fountains Abbey, Brigham Rocks, Betty’s tea rooms in Harrogate, Lightwater valley, Stump Cross Caverns, Malham Cove, and many super little market towns all in close proximity. 

We have ample free off street parking in our private courtyard.

We take a 10% non refundable deposit at booking.

You can cancel up to 6 weeks before your stay and not incur further costs, but your balance is due at this point. 
It is therefore important you look into insurance (like you would if traveling aboard).
